Not Up to the Hype...

I think this was well animated, and it took a lot of time to get done, but one thing bothered me. I could see the 'backdrop' of what was happening. You had set the screen size to a small scale than what was shone, and a lot of the loops were seen multiple times. I realize that this could be easily solved in the options of the flash, so that's why I brought it up. Along the lines of the story, I felt it was too smooth. It didn't really puncture into what a Peanuts tale should have been. Somewhat looked like you were afraid to go into the actual story. Now in the future, don't be afraid to freak some people out. And the voices also made it a stretch to get involved mentally. The flash animation itself was top notch, and I will probably look at more of your work. But as for the whole OMG ITS AWESUOMZZZZ... well, I didn't find it 'awesuomzzzz'. But good job guys.

Not sure what you mean, I disabled resizing in the submission settings, plus added code in the flash to remove zoom options from the right click menu. So everything was animated to display in the 900x600 frame above.

This Doesn't need to be Reviewed.

It's obvious that this is awesome.

Understood Your Situation, But...

This is quite the film for yourself. I personally congratulate you, but in the future you may want to:

1. Increase the Frame rate
2. Although you did hit the colors of L4D spot on, a contrast in certain aspects would have done well for the mood.
3. I once again understand, but you should still end your movie with some type of theme. Even if it's shown to people who do not use flash, they will still know that you were done with this.

I once again give you props. And I had to do a film for an animation class as well, so I understand the whole use this and include this many of those sorta thing. But good job.

ScottFalco responds:

Frame rate was not my decision

I used less colors so it was quicker to color, so I could animate more

This is Pretty Hard to Review

It's okay. Sort of. Okay I'll get down to it. Your characters looked fine, and I was interested... at least until you started letting things happen. It's obvious that you wanted this to be epic, but then you remembered that you didn't have the time and turned it into... well this. I can see that you know how to use flash and that is awesome but if you don't try to finish something with such high hopes, then you are destined to not be as good as you would have imagined. The next time you make a flash, please try to apply more than the main aspects effect wise. The way it came out to me, you were experimenting with depth, and detail. If that is wrong I apologize but from what I saw thats what I got from it. Also, if you ever need any specified music for a flash, feel free to email me. I make music for extra cash and wouldn't mind giving you something for free. But try to keep the little things in with your flash, with the higher quality effects.

Against the H8

It's not good, but its far from bad. And everyone who decides to put the following should rething before they post... :
Y0U N33D A 570RY!!!!!
50UND5 P10X!!!
7HI5 5UX
1U1.

Really guys it says beta for a reason, and no matter how educated you make the post sound, thats really all it looks like. You know no more about flash than the average pineapple.

Things that would actually help you in the future;
Whenever you have a repetitive scene, usually involving a tween... Make another layer specifically for background effects to keep the viewers attention. Next, you should make shure that your frame rate doesn't exceed 20 fps if you are new to the program, just until you get better at specific frames without a tween being used. It's worth it to take the time and draw out specifics, such as the meteorite, but whenever you do something like that, you must make everything else just as detailed. Ex: Stars? The added comedic effect of trees on the planet with the road? These are simply a few things to keep in mind. If you are going for a certain type of effect such as drama for instance, then you must still include other elements witin your flash. Even Shakespear did this. And I will leave you with one last bit. Don't worry about a due date unless it is a project with such. Freelancing has its own schedule. Now please take what I have told you and use it in the future. mythicman95

Did I Help? Please respond!

kolpet responds:

oh, thank you!
And no, I'm not new in flash. I am using flash about two years ago, so I started when I was 11.
yes, I need some more art for it....
And YES, you helped me soooooooooo much. I gonna make a better flash than that!!!

Guys this is the Exact Feeling

Hahahahahahahah. This sorta bummed me out but its pretty awesome.

I wish that I had this kind of creativy.

Because if I did, I would be Hitler.

I create small pieces of artwork and music. Mostly sheet music. Learning flash by myself. Share the love.
